Too often we see comments and questions from those who don’t know our business well, wondering about these same stipulations. “Do we need to purchase water rights?” “What about building a road and building pad?” “Is electricity available?” All of these questions are valid and need to be addressed when purchasing land as these can generally be significant financially in planning a property purchase.

Let’s clear this up right now. Water rights are included with all our properties. This then gives you the ability to choose what you would like to do next. If you’re looking for a property primarily for camping or trailer camping, then you have no need to dig a well and worry about that expense. If you plan on building a cabin or setting down something more permanent, we can set you up with well digging companies and get you the best estimate. We try to give everyone options on what they would like to do with their land.

Every property we sell comes with a driveway and building/camping pad already on it or we will spend 2-3 hours building one for you. If you would like additional roads or pads, we can work out a rate for this service. But we include this service so that you can immediately enjoy your property or start building right away. But also remember, there are no regulations in the county on when you have to build after buying.

When buying properties or creating a new development, we generally do this near electricity. In most cases, electricity is very close and just needs to be attached to the specific lot. Rarely is power not readily available. But in those cases, and even when electricity in on site, many people elect to use solar power. This is a great alternative and will pay off in the long run.
